Summer Cookery Clubs in Greenwich
24th July 2018
Cook cheap and healthy grub at your local cookery club!
With summer well under way, the Royal Borough of Greenwich, in partnership with the Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency (GCDA), is pleased to announce an exciting new round of FREE Community Cookery Clubs, kicking off on 6th August.
The four-week ‘Taste of Health Cookery Clubs’ are open to everyone and are a great way to learn how to cook meals that are healthy, delicious and low-budget. With evening and weekend sessions running at a range of venues across the borough, there’s a course at a time and place to suit everyone too.
Cook from scratch
Our qualified tutors offer great advice on eating a healthy, balanced diet by making small changes that make a big difference to your health – all while keeping within your budget.
You don’t have to be experienced to join our clubs as the courses are open to everyone, from complete beginners to those who are a dab hand in the kitchen. All ingredients, equipment and aprons are provided and all participants will get a free recipe book on completion of the course, featuring recipes prepared during the sessions.
We’ve had some fantastic feedback over the years from some of the hundreds of people in Greenwich who have already taken part. The cookery clubs are a great way of meeting new people and exchanging hints and tips, so why not sign up to a free Taste of Health Cookery club near you?
