- Shout | The UK’s first and only free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone who is struggling to cope.
- The Listening Place | free, face-to-face support across London for individuals to talk openly about their suicidal feelings without being judged or being given advice. Someone will be in touch within 24 hours.
- Papyrus | If you’re under 35 and struggling with suicidal feelings, or concerned about a young person, call 0800 068 4141 (weekdays 10am-10pm, weekends 2pm-10pm and bank holidays 2pm–10pm), email pat@papyrus-uk.org or text 07786 209 697.
- The Mix | if you’re under 25, call 0808 808 4994 (3pm–midnight every day), request support by email using this form on The Mix website or use their crisis text messenger service.

Pregnancy, babies and children up to age 5
- Local children’s centres can offer professional advice and support to families with children up to five years old via telephone.

- PANDAS | 0843 28 98 401 (every day from 9am-8pm) Support for parents experiencing perinatal mental illness.
- Mindful Mums | 07850 639819 Support (online) groups run by local MIND for pregnant and new mums with babies up to 12 months old.
- Mums Aid | 07758 763 908 Advice, counselling and therapeutic support for mums, including those experiencing mental health issues during pregnancy and after birth.
Support for parents/carers with children up to age 19
- Welcare | 0207 820 7910 Practical and emotional services to help families (with children up to the age of 13) to cope with a wide range of difficulties.

- Our Family Information Service can offer advice and signposting on a range of issues that may be affecting you and your family, including for children up to the age of 19, or 25 for people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND)

Support for parents/carers of a child with medical needs or a disability
- Mencap, the National Autistic Society and The Greenwich Local Offer have helpful information and services to support families and their child/young person if they have a disability.

It’s ok to feel low, anxious, concerned or frustrated. But there are things we can all do to look after ourselves and loved ones. It’s ok to ask for help, and lots of support is available. Find some top tips here.
