Residents of Horn Park

We know that this year has been tough for everyone. We have all needed to adapt and change our ways of living.

This year, more than ever, it is important to look after ourselves and our loved ones. With a second lockdown and winter approaching, things may get more difficult.

But there is a lot of support available and it is ok to ask for help.

The Source

We planned to reopen The Source at 65 Sibthorpe Road in March. Unfortunately we couldn’t do that because of Covid-19.

We will re-open the health facility as soon as it is possible to do so whilst keeping everyone, patients and staff, safe.

If you have any questions about The Source, please email russell.cartwright@nhs.net.

Accessing NHS services this winter

NHS services and GP practices are open.

They are working differently and doing everything they can to keep patients safe. So please keep your appointments and get the help that you need now.

  • GP practice – contact them by phone or online to be assessed if you need medical help from your GP.
  • 111 First – If you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do, NHS 111 can help, on the phone or online.  Open 24/7.

Support to live well

All sorts of things affect our health and wellbeing, but there’s lots of advice and support available here on Live Well Greenwich around topics like:

Greenwich Community Hub

If you can’t go out and don’t have any family, friends or neighbours around to talk to or help, then contact the Greenwich Community Hub. The Community Hub has helped thousands of people during the pandemic and is still here for you. You can get support around:

  • food
  • keeping your mind and body healthy
  • money issues
  • housing
  • employment, volunteering and training
  • advice about staying warm and well in winter
  • social activities

Call 0800 470 4831 to talk to a friendly advisor today. Open Monday – Saturday, 8am – 6.30pm.

You can also request support online here.

Get your flu vaccination

This winter it is more important than ever that you get your flu jab so you can protect yourself and your loved ones. The vaccine is an effective way to protect yourself from becoming ill with the flu.

We are running a special one-off Flu Vaccination Clinic on 12 December 2020 at Horn Park Community Centre. This is for people aged 18-65 who live on the Horn Park Estate.

Appointment only.
To book a vaccination slot please call 0800 470 4831.

Note: If you usually get your vaccination each year from your GP or pharmacy, please continue to do so.
