Cycling is one of the easiest ways to move more every day as it’s also a great way to get around.
Greenwich has loads of fantastic cycle routes to try:

Free cycle training in Greenwich
Cycle Confident training gives you the chance to build your confidence and skills when riding on the road. It is free for anyone aged 7+ who lives, works or studies in Greenwich. For more information and to book, visit the Cycle Confident website.

Organised Rides
If you’re new to cycling, join in an organised cycle ride to improve your confidence:
Limited Edition Cycling
Limited Edition Cycle Club are a friendly, leave-no-one behind established group. They meet in Eltham on the weekends. The Saturday group is for beginners who fancy giving social rides a go.
Greenwich Cyclists
Join the Greenwich Cyclists Group if you would like to go on organised rides and attend special events. They meet to discuss cycling informally every first Wednesday of the month.
Skyride Social Rides
Skyride are Britain’s biggest network of cyclists. Meet like-minded riders, create groups, and organise your own rides. You would have to be confident of riding on busy streets.
