We are offering training again this year to support applicants with different aspects of the Community Voting Day. The sessions will be delivered by Gayle Wallace, your Community Voting Day expert. See below what training topics will be covered and for the full training timetable.

• ‘What’s it all about- Awareness training’. An insight into what a Community Voting Day is all about and an opportunity for those new to the funding and for those who want to refresh their memory
• ‘Project idea development training’– Support to develop your project idea into a workable plan that considers all the factors which go into creating a successful project.
• ‘Presentation skills training’ – Getting you ready for your 3-minute pitch at the community voting day and working through a range of techniques and nerve-busting strategies.
• ‘Application Process & Due Diligence training.  In readiness for the application becoming available for submission, you will be walked through on how to prepare a strong application and gain an understanding of the key ingredients to consider for any future funding application.
• ‘Monitoring, reporting and demonstrating impact’ – giving you all the tools you need to actively monitor the impact your project is having and accurately account for its achievements to the Public Health Team for evaluation purposes.

If you are unable to attend the in-person, you are welcome to join any of the online sessions via Zoom on the allocated dates.
