Get involved in your community
Coronavirus has affected all of our lives, and it’s important to know how to protect ourselves, our families and our community, and know the support that’s available for everybody.
As a community, we are stronger together.
The Public Health team in Royal Greenwich have been working with communities in the borough, with the aim of helping to keep people safe, preventing the spread of the virus and stop any misinformation that may be circulating.
Delivery Teams for several different areas are being developed, each with its own Engagement Lead:
Thamesmead Moorings – Abu Bah
Plumstead and Glyndon – Khadija Ahmed
Charlton – Philip Connolly
Woolwich Common – Rahman Famuditimi
Woolwich Riverside – Abu Siddiki
Sutcliffe Park (Page Estate) – Maria Gray
Greenwich Peninsula (Caletock & Flamsteed Estates) – Brenda Mason
Delivery Teams will be going out and about in their local area, communicating with communities with small, safe, socially distanced conversations, door knocking, or through digital means such as online surveys. Each Delivery Team also has weekly in-person or zoom meetings to keep in touch and share ideas.
If you’d like to get involved and help to share information around coronavirus, please get in touch with your Engagement Lead, by emailing email@example.com.
