Community Innovation Grants

Royal Greenwich launched the Community Innovation Grant programme in January 2022 to support projects which can help to improve unfair differences in health services and positively impact the mental health and wellbeing of our residents. We’ve funded 75 projects that will work with over 6,000 residents and over 400 families in the borough. The successful projects were awarded funding in April 2022. Many projects have already started their activities, with more to be delivered up until the end of March 2023.

People live with unfair differences in physical and mental health for many reasons, which have only been heightened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Factors such as language, accessibility and experiences of discrimination can make it more difficult for communities to access and improve local support services. These projects, all around the borough, will aim to tackle these issues in their communities.

Below is a list of all projects that have consented to sharing their contact details. You can also access it here.

If you notice that you are not on this list, and would like to be, please email community-champions@royalgreenwich.gov.uk.
