Fresh round of FREE food training for teachers

If you work within a primary setting in the Royal Borough and would like practical support embedding activities such as food growing, cookery classes or farm visits into the curriculum, our Free Food for Life schools training could be for you.

Food for Life is the school food transformation programme from the Soil Association, aiming to support primary schools up and down the country to develop a more positive culture around food.

It does this through reconnecting children and adults with where their food comes from, teaching them how it’s grown and cooked, and championing the importance of well-sourced ingredients.

‘A great way to demonstrate that your school is doing fantastic work to provide healthy meals, great lunchtimes and food education.’

So, whether you’re a seasoned Food for Life lead looking to take your school to the next level of accreditation, or you’d like to learn more about the support available through the scheme. Our forthcoming events, including a twilight drop-in session as well as practical, one day workshops, offer the perfect opportunity to find out all you need to know.

Check out the next round of FREE training sessions starting in Spring Term.
