Growing Good Food in Greenwich

Each week local residents can attend one of five local growing sites to try a range of gardening activities including:

  • – seed sowing and planting
  • – growing soft fruit bushes, vegetables and fruit trees
  • – maintaining and managing herbs, shrubs and flowers
  • – using organic principles to support wildlife and much, much more

Gardening can help to improve your mood and make you fitter. It’s also a great way to improve the local environment by creating better green spaces for all to enjoy.

Whether you’re a dab hand in the garden or have never grown anything before, with the support and guidance of GCDA’s community gardeners and volunteers you’ll have no trouble getting stuck in!

To take part in the Growing Good Food in Greenwich project please contact:
Kevin Godby on 020 8269 4880 or email Kevin at Kevin@gcda.org.uk

Please note, when the weather is inclement, sessions are held indoors to discuss topics related to the site and gardening, plants and the natural world.
