Autumn Community Cookery Clubs

This autumn, for a great way to learn how to cook meals that are healthy, delicious and low budget – and meet new people – don’t miss the chance to join a FREE 5-week Community Cookery Club. 

Our friendly, qualified tutors offer great advice on eating a healthy, balanced diet by making small changes that make a big difference to your health – all while keeping within your budget.

Healthy eating at an affordable price

From measuring your salt and oil so you can reduce the amount you use, to finding easy and inexpensive ways to up your intake of fruit and veg. As well as learning practical cookery skills, you’ll find lots of useful tips and ideas to help you eat well, reduce waste, and save money.

An ever popular element of the course, our community cookery clubs also include a week dedicated to food growing. You’ll learn about herbs used in cooking and for health, and how to grow your own herbs and salads in the smallest of spaces in and around your home!

Courses are open to everyone, from complete beginners to those who are a dab hand in the kitchen.  All ingredients, equipment and aprons are provided and you’ll also receive a free recipe book when you complete the course, featuring recipes prepared during the five weeks.

We’ve had some fantastic feedback from some of the 400 people in Greenwich who have already taken part since last autumn, with people making healthier choices in the kitchen that have led to noticeable improvements to their health.

Our autumn Cookery Clubs take place weekly at several community locations across the borough, for two and a half hours, from 8th October through to 10th November.
