Understanding Health Improvement Training
Want to learn about improving the health of your friends, family or community?
Who is this training for?
This training is free and open to anyone who lives, works or volunteers in Greenwich and wants to improve the health and wellbeing of:
- friends
- family
- communities
- workplace
It could be for someone who engages with the public in a front-line, community or healthcare related role, and is an ideal stepping stone to further training in health.
What does the training cover?
It provides knowledge and understanding of the benefits of good health and wellbeing including:
- Know how inequalities in health may develop and what the current policies are for addressing these
- Understand how effective communication can support health messages
- Know how to promote improvements in health and wellbeing to individuals and the impact this can have
Recognised qualification
The Royal Society of Public Health accredits this training. Therefore, it offers a recognised qualification which looks great on your CV. The training runs regularly and takes place over 2 days, but please note places are limited.
