The Greenwich Stop Smoking Service in partnership with Charlton Athletic Community Trust are launching a brand new roadshow on January 23rd, encouraging residents of the borough to ‘Quit Your Way, Today!’ The roadshow will tour around the Royal borough for 7 weeks, visiting high footfall areas such as high streets and supermarkets, and offer dedicated 1-1 stop smoking support.
With so many different ways to stop smoking now, there’s never been a better time to quit. The Greenwich Stop Smoking Service are here to help you every step of the way, no matter how many times you’ve tried to stop before. Whether you prefer to quit with the help of drop-in centres, stop smoking medications or e-cigarettes, we’re here to support you with whatever you choose.
There will be lung age tests available, carbon monoxide readings and free, local support from a team of trained stop smoking advisors. You’re 4 times more likely to quit with support, so the friendly advisors will be on hand to help you choose your best way to stop smoking.
If you are pregnant or a new mum, you’ll know that stopping smoking is the best thing you can do for you and your baby. Ask our friendly team about the specialist stop smoking support you can find at some of our Children’s Centres and at our stop smoking clinics in Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
